Dr. Perez Sanfeliz specializes in neonatology with the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute, and sees patients at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. He joined the hospital staff in 2023.
He was previously a pediatric/newborn hospitalist in San Juan, Puerto Rico and San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Perez Sanfeliz earned his medical degree from UAG School of Medicine in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan. He completed a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine and served as chief fellow at University of South Florida Morsani School of Medicine. He also earned his Master of Public Health in epidemiology from University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus.
His research interests include pulmonary hypertension, prenatal consultation, cultural determinants in preterm infant care and parental knowledge.
