eISCRO Coming Soon! The JHU Institutional Stem Cell Research Oversight (ISCRO) committee and staff have been working closely during the past year with JHU Research Environment Systems (RES) to develop a web-based ISCRO system called "eISCRO". eISCRO is currently in the test phase and is expected to go live by the end of June 2012. Users will be able to simply login using their JHED ID and password. eISCRO is a paperless, electronic method to submit, track, and review the scientific, regulatory, and compliance information required for the safe and ethical conduct of some types of research involving human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) being conducted by JHU faculty, staff or students or involving the use of JHU facilities or resources. (See http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Research/iscro/ for details of research covered under JHU ISCRO purview). The system provides a platform for the ISCRO committee and other research compliance committees to share critical information regarding the submission and review of new protocol/cell line applications, amendments, continuing reviews and study terminations. Please refer to the
JHU ISCRO website to obtain more information about when to start
using the eISCRO and other updates. |
