The Genetic Resources Core Facility (GRCF)

GRCF DNA Analysis Facility is pleased to announce two new developments:

1. Applied Biosystems/Life Technologies Taqman Assays can now be ordered using a tool on our website. The tool allows you to search for assays and then creates a shopping cart which is emailed to us for ordering. You receive a small discount from list price and free shipping.

The GRCF Fragment Analysis Facility

GRCF High Throughput Sequencing Center

The GRCF High Throughput Sequencing Facility is now offering whole exome sequencing and analysis for $1,350 per sample. Our fully automated pipeline includes rigorous QC, exome array genotyping for concordance/sensitivity, variant calling, and annotation against most publicly available datasets. Using Agilent's v4 Whole Exome reagents, we guarantee 90% coverage of captured regions at 8x or greater, (ie. sufficient to call variants). Mean depth is a poor metric for capture, but we average >80x.
