Biography

With a focus on Hepatology, Dr. Woreta joined Johns Hopkins as a part-time faculty member at Johns Hopkins Bayview. While she recently completed her transplant hepatology fellowship with the Division of Gastroenterology, she is also conducting clinical trial research on the utility of new biomarkers in the diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Dr. Woreta has authored several publications and chapters and is board-certied in internal medicine.
