Dr. Melissa Camp is a surgical oncologist specializing in breast cancer, including nipple-sparing mastectomy breast conservation surgery. Her focus is on compassionate care and helping newly diagnosed patients navigate the decision-making process.

Dr. Camp received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry/molecular biology summa cum laude from Dartmouth College. She graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and went on to complete residencies in general surgery and preventive medicine at Hopkins as well as a master's degree in public health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. After a fellowship in breast surgery at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, she joined the Hopkins faculty as assistant professor of surgery and oncology.

A member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology, Dr. Camp has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and has presented her work at national and international meetings. more
