Dr. Obias is the best doctor ever! He is a brilliant surgeon; a world-class expert in his field who is very down-to-earth. He eliminated any concerns I had by thoroughly explaining the plan/procedures, told us what to expect, and answered our questions. He is professional, respectful, kind, compassionate, listens attentively and patiently, and visited every day that I was in the hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Obias - he is truly a blessing.

First, I have the middleman to go through all my records and he then talks to Dr. Obias and reports. Then Dr. Obias comes in and not so friendly and proceeds to tell me that he is a SURGEON and mostly cancer. Like 3 times he tells me this. So, I say well I was referred to you by the gastroenterologist because I have a distended stomach and your specialty is colorectal and we are trying to solve the issue. It took a while to get to the other end of this conversation.

Dr Obias was not prepared for my appt. At most he barely skimmed your records and misunderstood my condition and the specifics. Had to repeat myself multiple times as he was not listening. Definitely unimpressed and disappointed.

I've been going to Dr. Obias for 9 years now (including his previous employer). He has been outstanding in my care beginning with a very successful robotic operation and a follow-up hernia operation. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would need a Colorectal doctor. I will continue to see Dr. Obias for any and all gastro issues that I might have in the future.

Dr. Obias was knowledgeable and polite. He ordered an MRI, but it's scheduled for May 20, so no results as yet. I'm hoping the MRI can help with the diagnosis, which is still uncertain.
