Clinical Interests

Laurie Sweet has been the clinical lead for rehabilitation therapy services at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in developing an integrated outpatient cancer rehabilitation program partnering with the Sydney Kimmel Cancer Center to meet the unique needs of cancer survivors from diagnosis, through treatment to after medical care has been completed.

Related Interests

Laurie has spoken at local and national conferences regarding the need for an integrated approach to multidisciplinary care throughout all stages of cancer survivorship to minimize physical side effects of treatment.  She has also provided lectures on the university level and regularly presents at patient and family education seminars.
