Physical Therapy Clinical Education
Our clinical education team is extremely proud to provide innovative programming that goes beyond basic affiliations or residency offerings. Our program is multidisciplinary, and we work closely with our university partners to bring exciting and multifaceted clinical education opportunities. Students and residents can expect to be both challenged and supported, knowing that the time spent in The Johns Hopkins Hospital’s clinical education program will offer a pivotal and valuable experience for future professional career advancement.
Information for Physical Therapy Students
Our department provides clinical education to physical therapy students enrolled in colleges and universities that have established contractual agreements with our physical therapy department. These arrangements are made by the academic coordinator of clinical education at each student’s college, not by The Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Below is information for students assigned to The John Hopkins Hospital for clinical training by the college or university in which they are enrolled. Please review the information regarding our educational programs, including necessary questionnaires and forms; housing, parking and transportation arrangements; and contact information:
- Welcome letter
- Physical therapy student clinical skills questionnaire
- Directions and housing
- Parking and transportation
Please note that neither The Johns Hopkins University nor The Johns Hopkins Hospital has a physical therapy school. If you are interested in obtaining information about physical therapist or physical therapist assistant educational programs, please visit the American Physical Therapy Association.
