Frank Pidcock representing AAP and AAPMR on task force for Parent Project for Muscular Dystrophy

Frank Pidcock is a Pediatric Physiatrist and an Associate Professor in the Johns Hopkins Hospital PM&R Department and will become the Director of Pediatric Rehab at the Kennedy Krieger Institute on July 1, 2010.  Dr. Pidcock will be representing both the Association of Academic Physiatrists and the American Academy of PM&R on a Task Force of the Parent Project for Muscular Dystrophy.

The goals of the Task Force are to improve primary care providers' and other relevant professionals' ability to identify symptoms of neuromuscular disorders early and make appropriate referrals and to increase clinicians' awareness of neuromuscular disease as a cause of developmental delay in young children ages 6 months to 5 years.
