Dr. Lori Jordan received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. She completed residencies in pediatrics and pediatric neurology as well as a fellowship in cerebrovascular neurology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Jordan completed her PhD through the Graduate Training Program in Clinical Investigation at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her research interests center around finding better methods to diagnose and treat ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke in childhood.
Currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Jordan focuses on the evaluation and treatment of neurological diseases and disorders in children with emphasis on stroke, brain arteriovenous malformations (AVM), and moyamoya. Dr. Jordan has particular expertise in stroke, brain hemorrhage and vascular malformations and is one of only a handful of child neurologists in the world with formal, subspecialty training in cerebrovascular neurology. She is co-director of the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Neurovascular Center. Dr. Jordan’s other clinical interests are cognitive neurology, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and neurofibromatosis.
Dr. Jordan sees patients at The Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center located in Baltimore on Tuesdays.
