Welcome to Howard County General Hospital: A Member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Our mission - "Provide the highest quality care to improve the health of our entire community through innovation, collaboration, service excellence, diversity and a commitment to patient safety" reflects our core purpose and the reason for our existence. Our vision is "To be the premiere community hospital in Maryland," and we are continuously striving to achieve that goal.

We take our mission and vision seriously; each program and service we offer, all the care we give, every interaction we have with patients and their families, our physicians, visitors and suppliers, as well as the community at large, is provided with the expectation that we are furthering our commitment to improve, enhance and expand our community-focused efforts and activities.
