I came to work as an administrative assistant at Howard County General Hospital four years ago. Over the years, my job has evolved from the standard administrative tasks one would expect to find in a position like mine to include a wide-array of duties that never leave me bored.

I enjoy the fact that I can be answering phones one moment and planning a hospital event the next. I feel that I have been given a great opportunity to express my creativity and other skills that I possess in a fast-paced and rewarding atmosphere.

My manager encourages me to take advantage of educational and professional training courses that allow me to broaden my skills. My co-workers are great and are supportive and willing to pitch in if I need help.
