Eiichi Saitoh, M.D., D.M.Sc., has been appointed Adjunct Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Saitoh is Professor and Chairman in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Principal of the Academy of Rehabilitation at Fujita Health University in Japan. He is one of the leading academic physiatrists in Japan, and a preeminent authority in dysphagia rehabilitation. Dr. Saitoh is President of the Japanese Society of Dysphagia Rehabilitation, a Councilor of the Dysphagia Research Society (North America), and Trustee of the Japanese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. This appointment reflects the outstanding international collaboration between Fuijita and Hopkins in dysphagia rehabilitation. |
