Dr. Doug Johnson-Greene Appointed Director of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology and Vice-Chair of PM&R at the University of Miami

Dear Colleagues,

Please join Dr. Palmer and myself in congratulating Dr. Doug Johnson-Greene on accepting the position of Director of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology and Vice-Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami-Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. He will assume the position in early January 2009.

Dr. Johnson-Greene's departure is marked by mixed emotions. Regret over the loss of his preseence as a colleague on day to day basis, respect and gratitude for all he has accomplished here at Hopkins, and pride and pleasure at his success in securing this new leadership position. He has been a key member of our faculty for 12 years. Dr. Johnson-Greene was instrumental in delivering psychological services to neurorehabilitation patients at Good Samaritan and in the Outpatient Neurorehabilitation Program at JHH. He built an active research program in the area of stroke and provided critical leadership as Director of Psychology Training. We are better for him having been part of our Department.

We wish him well in his new position and look forward to his continued contributions to the development of rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology on the national level.

Regards,
