Dr. Marlís González-Fernández has been selected for the 2009 Program for Academic Leadership. The Program for Academic Leadership (PAL) is a three-year program to develop academic leadership skills in junior PM&R faculty. The goal of PAL is to provide the administrative framework and skill set to promising physiatric academic faculty to enhance their leadership abilities within a Department, Medical School, and the field of PM&R at large. Dr. González-Fernández is Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Medical Director of the PM&R Outpatient Clinic at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
