Outpatient Physiatrist

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (PM&R) is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-qualified physiatrist.

PM&R provides a variety of interdisciplinary rehabilitation services in both inpatient and outpatient settings within The Johns Hopkins Medical System and the Good Samaritan Hospital.

This rewarding and challenging University position offers ample opportunity for resident and student teaching, and clinical practice in a collegial environment of the highest caliber.  Options for either a clinical position or academic track appointment are available.  Clinical experience, enthusiasm, strong communication skills, desire for collaboration and a commitment to quality are necessary.

The successful candidate is expected to develop an outpatient practice focusing on musculoskeletal care and pain management.  Additional desired skills include performance of EMG and nerve block/botulinum injection procedures.  Although spinal injection skills are not required, an interest in developing these are desirable.
