The Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is open to applications from both pediatric and emergency medicine residency graduates.
The fellowship program is based at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, Florida Poison Information Center – Tampa, and select rotations at Tampa General Hospital emergency department and Trauma Center with association to the University of South Florida. The program includes rotations in pediatric emergency medicine, pediatric critical care, anesthesia, trauma, toxicology, child abuse, emergency medical services and adult emergency medicine.

Length:
- Pediatrics-Trained Residents: Three years
- Emergency Medicine-Trained Residents: Two years
Stipend: Training stipend and benefits provided.
Requirements: As outlined by the ABP or ABEM and ACGME, applicants must meet eligibility criteria for this fellowship program including:
- Board eligibility or board certification in pediatrics, medicine-pediatrics or Emergency Medicine residency program
- Eligible for a State of Florida Medical Training License
- ECFMG certification, if pertinent
- Completion of the ERAS application
- At least three letters of recommendation
- School of Medicine transcript
- USMLE/COMLEX transcript of Step 1-3 scores
