Lasker Medical Research Awards

Ludwig Von Sallman Prize

Awarded by the International Society for Eye Research every two years to an individual who has distinguished himself or herself by making a significant contribution to vision research and ophthalmology.
Amount of award: $30,000

Harvey Prize/Technion-Israel Institute of Technology

Marion Spencer Fay Award

Japan Prize

Category changes yearly. The 2016 Japan Prize in the field of "Biological Production and Biological Environment" will be awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the welfare of society by achieving momentous scientific and technological breakthroughs in the improvement of biological production of food and other useful materials to overcome hunger and poverty as well as to assure their safety, or in the development of technologies that will measure and evaluate the effects of human activity on the environment or serve as environmental countermeasures , thereby helping to protect and conserve the biological environment and biodiversity.
Amount of award: 50 million yen
Deadline: 2/28/15; Prize is awarded in January of following year


MARCH

Judson Daland Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Investigation

Awarded by the American Philosophical Society, this prize recognizes outstanding achievement in patient-oriented research.

Keio Medical Science Prize

Louis and Artur Lucian Award
