JHU School of Medicine Core Showcase

November 11, 2019 from 10:30am to 2pm in the Turner Concourse

The JHU SOM Core Showcase is designed to uniquely focus on the invaluable resources available to Johns Hopkins researchers from our in-house Core Facilities. At least 30 Cores will be exhibiting and highlighting a variety of services including biostatistics, data analysis, flow cytometry, genomics, imaging, metabolomics, microscopy, pharmacology, translational and proteomics to name just a few. Additionally, nine cores will provide twenty-minute presentations on a diversity of topics. This event does not require prior registration if you plan to attend. Melissa V. Olson, Ph.D, GRCF Director, Assistant Professor SOM Genetic Medicine, will give a presentation outlining the services the GRCF provides to the Hopkins Research community. Additionally, the GRCF will have a table staffed with representative from our various divisions ready to assist you with any questions or inquiries.

  • November 27th, Early Drop - Off and closing at 3pm. Early drop - off means samples must be:
    • In Blalock by noon.
    • In our Bayview & CRB drop boxes by 11 am.
    • Homewood drop-off locations will be processed the next business day.
  • November 28-29, Closed
