The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) seeks to deliver effective programs that develop and nurture our diverse faculty. We envision a culture in which all faculty members are engaged, invested, and passionate about their career development. This mission and vision carries through your late career faculty transitions. The Academy at Johns Hopkins was established in the fall of 2018, and actively engages retired faculty in continued research, teaching, mentorship and service to the Johns Hopkins community. In response to our senior faculty members’ interests in guidance through late career transitioning and retirement, The Academy, in collaboration with the OFD, hosted a special panel presentation of retired faculty.
