About Suburban Hospital’s Addiction Treatment Center
Suburban Hospital’s Addiction Treatment Center offers a comprehensive program for the detoxification, counseling and education for those suffering from addictive disease. Located at a convenient site in Montgomery County, the Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program offers a broad range of addiction (i.e., alcohol and/or substance abuse) services for adolescents and adults, including:
- Evaluation services and inpatient detoxification
- A dual diagnosis intensive outpatient program
- Structured outpatient programs
- Adolescent substance abuse education and outpatient treatment
- Additional meetings for parents of teens in trouble with alcohol or other drugs
- Our services are approved for coverage by some insurance companies and managed care plans.
Our staff is committed to making the evaluation process comfortable and educational for all involved. Evaluations are conducted by our clinical staff. They take a complete biopsychosocial history that becomes a primary tool in formulating an individualized plan of treatment. The evaluation data provides the basis for diagnosis and admission into the outpatient program if appropriate. The evaluation frequently includes information gathering with the client's family, significant other and/or employer/school. The evaluation requires one to two hours.
