As we reflect back on a year of unprecedented events, it’s undeniable how fortunate we were to have opened the Suburban Hospital North Building to the public on March 8, 2020. This date marked the completion of a five-year, $270M project that transformed our clinical environment into a fully-integrated, comprehensive medical campus.
The timing of the campus opening was a blessing for us and allowed Suburban to quickly and effectively confront the COVID-19 pandemic head on – moving patients into private rooms, opening specialized care units for COVID patients, and activating an emergency command center to manage the crisis.
This would not have been possible, however, without neighbors and friends like you. We are grateful for the generous outpouring of philanthropic support that continues to allow Suburban Hospital to provide the highest level of patient centered clinical care.
To date, more than $65M has been raised to support our campus transformation. However, it’s not too late to be a part of our Suburban Hospital’s history. I encourage you to explore this site celebrating the North Building’s one-year anniversary to learn more about opportunities for your support.
Throughout our history, Suburban Hospital has been fortunate to benefit from your enduring commitment of philanthropy, and never has that commitment been more important. We are grateful for your support that allows us to advance the promise of medicine and stay Suburban Strong.
