Generous Donors Provide Lifeline to Breast Cancer Patients

Date: October 1, 2012

Suburban Hospital’s patient navigator program is primarily funded by generous contributions to the Suburban Hospital Foundation. Charitable donations from individuals, corporations and foundations as well as proceeds from events like the annual Key To The Cure help to ensure that this lifeline is always available for patients like Connie Greene and hundreds of others. The Suburban Hospital breast care fund also provides assistance to qualified patients to help cover insurance premiums, certain medical bills, transportation, home care, medical equipment and much more.

“I am humbled by the knowledge that caring members of our community provide funding to help people with cancer, like me. I am eternally grateful.” — Connie Greene
