Rebecca Riddell, M.S.

Rebecca Riddell is the Senior Research Data Analyst in the Office of Assessment and Evaluation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Rebecca works with JHUSOM faculty and staff to promote best practices for data management, integrity, and analysis.

Rebecca graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. After graduating, she moved to Baltimore and worked in the Office of Research Projects Administration before transitioning to the Office of Research Information Systems; both under University Administration at Johns Hopkins University on the Homewood Campus. In these roles, she became a subject matter expert and analyst in research administration data, business processes, and systems. She led the university-wide data integrity effort for the Coeus research proposal submission system and produced monthly as well as ad hoc reports on proposal submissions for university leadership.

Rebecca completed a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Johns Hopkins University Zanvyl Kreiger School of Arts and Sciences in May 2016. Rebecca’s current projects include digging into the school’s numerous data sources as well as assisting with data analysis for a variety of reporting requests.  Her research interests include regression analysis for modeling and predicting outcomes as well as survey design and analysis.
