School of Medicine residents, interns, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and medical students who are assessed a University Health Services (UHS) fee are allowed one annual (July 1 – June 30) comprehensive eye examination/contact lens evaluation provided by Wilmer Comprehensive Eye Care. When calling to schedule your appointment at one of the locations below, be sure to tell the person scheduling the visit that your examination will be covered by University Health Services. If for some reason you receive a bill for the exam, please call the University Health Services benefits office at 410-955-3872 for assistance.

Although eyeglasses and contact lenses are not covered by the Student Health Program (SHP) medical insurance nor University Health Services, eyeglasses and contact lenses are covered by EyeMed.
