Ted Dawson Receives Parkinson's Disease Research Award
Ted Dawson, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Institute for Cell Engineering and a professor of neurology, has beens awarded the Jay Van Andel Award for Outstanding Achievement in Parkinson’s Disease Research by the Van Andel Institute. The award is given to scientists who advance the understanding of Parkinson’s disease. Dawson’s career-long research has contributed to the understanding of both familial and sporadic types of Parkinson’s disease.
