Courtney Robertson, President of National Neurotrauma Society
Courtney Robertson, M.D., associate professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine and pediatrics, is president of the National Neurotrauma Society. Her area of clinical expertise is pediatric critical care, with a focus on traumatic brain injury and pediatric neurocritical care. The National Neurotrauma Society is the largest professional society for scientists conducting neurotrauma research and includes researchers of all specialties. The society is committed to the promotion of neurotrauma research by enhancing communications, providing a forum and increasing support nationally and internationally. During her presidency, Robertson aims to raise awareness for her specialty of pediatric neurotrauma, provide more opportunities for society members to connect, collaborate and learn, and develop pathways for junior scientists to become involved in the organization.
