Johns Hopkins is committed to promoting the full participation of all individuals with disabilities in the Commencement Exercises. Below is information pertaining to the ceremony and the accommodations made for individuals with disabilities.
Handicap parking is available on a first-come, first served basis in the nearby public parking garages; a state-issued license plate or placard is required.
A handicapped drop-off area is available at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in the driveway in front of the box office.
The venue has designated seating areas for persons using wheelchairs. Seating is available for the individual with the disability and up to two companions on a first-come, first-served basis. If you need assistance finding seating, please see one of the ushers for assistance.
For other guests with mobility disabilities, it is strongly recommended that you arrive early to ensure you are able to find a seat that meets your needs. Should you need assistance, please see an usher.
Elevators are available in the center of the building.
