Simulation Center

The JHMSC is steadfast in its mission to push the boundaries of discovery and set the standard in excellence in medical research. Even prior to the construction of a dedicated simulation lab in 2008, Johns Hopkins faculty were publishing and presenting research on simulation as an investigative methodology and as an effective training methodology.

We have a strong research mentorship program, and benefit from the Johns Hopkins University’s research training initiatives and access to additional research support. Our research program also encompasses usability testing, human factors projects, product engineering and technology development.

The JHMSC is dedicated to advancing simulation technology, and has formally and informally worked with companies, biomedical engineering students, and independent engineers to develop, improve design, and market new and improved simulation products.
