Dr. Ramin Oskoui is a cardiologist affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital and Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Oskoui is certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He practices out of Capital Heart Associates in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Oskoui has an expertise in acute coronary syndrome, cardiac catheterization, cardiomyopathy, cardiovascular disease, congenital heart disease, valvular heart disease, echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography, heart block, high cholesterol, hypertension, pacemakers and preventive cardiology.

Dr. Oskoui earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Emory University Hospital, followed by a residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Oskoui went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology at Washington Hospital Center. 

Dr. Oskoui is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. 

Dr. Oskoui was named the 2015 Physician of the Year by Johns Hopkins Medicine Clinical Awards for Physicians and Care Teams. He has also won the Patients’ Choice Award for numerous years and has been named a Top Doctor in the Washington, D.C. and Washington-Baltimore areas by Castle Connolly. Dr. Oskoui has also received Compassionate Doctor Recognition and was named a 2014 Top 10 Doctor in the District of Columbia for Cardiologists.
