Still from Driggers interview video
Dr. Rita Driggers, Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Sibley Memorial Hospital, is the lead author on a recent paper on the effects of the Zika virus on fetal brain development. See an interview with her on the WUSA9 website.

Sibley’s Maternal Fetal Medicine Program provides high-risk pregnancy management, comprehensive evaluation and recommendations for referring providers.

Our providers are specialty-trained physicians who are experts in genetic counseling, perinatal sonography and diagnostic imaging. Their training includes managing high-risk situations that may arise during pregnancy and providing comprehensive care and education.

Physicians are available for on-site consultation services during pregnancy, during delivery, and after the birth of your baby. They are also here for emergency consultations.

For referrals, to schedule an appointment, or to reach a member of our Maternal Fetal Medicine team, please call 202-660-7180.
