Gastroenterology & Hepatology

3d rendering of the human body - in particular the digestive tract

In January 2014, the Johns Hopkins Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology launched a new site at Sibley Memorial Hospital. This site has made the world-class expertise and unparalleled resources of Johns Hopkins Medicine available to residents of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Our physicians will be available to see outpatients in the Sibley Medical Building on the 3rd floor, and to provide inpatient consultations as required. Patients are also seen in offices in Bethesda, Maryland.

In addition to the departmental physicians, Sibley Memorial Hospital is proud to have on its medical staff several outstanding GI physicians from community and academic practices within the area.

To make an appointment, please call our practice coordinator at 202-660-5555.

If you're interested in becoming a new patient, please complete and email a copy of the Hepatology Patient Registration Form (available as a PDF or Word document) to the office at

If you're coming in for your first visit, please complete and bring the New Patient Questionnaire to your appointment.
