Classes and Workshops

Meditation and Mindfulness: Practices to Help Regulate the Stress Response after a Cancer Diagnosis

Join others affected by a cancer diagnosis to learn about and practice Mindfulness Meditation, which has been shown to be effective in reducing stress, anxiety and loneliness and in improving sleep and boosting the immune system. Anyone with a history of cancer, their family members, and caregivers are welcome.

Look Good…Feel Better®

Women undergoing cancer treatment are invited to join us for this free program, which will show you how to combat the appearance-related side effects of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.

Survivors Too: Stress Management for Cancer Caregivers

A practical workshop for family and friends to learn self-care tips and strategies to manage the stress of care giving.

Yoga for Cancer Survivors

Weekly meditative, gentle and restorative yoga using mindful movement, balance and breathing techniques to help men and women with a history of cancer to reduce anxiety, improve quality of life, and regain sense of self. Classes are Mondays at 7 p.m.

Chair Yoga for Cancer Survivors

Weekly meditative, gentle and restorative yoga designed for men and women with balance issues, who have difficulty getting down to and up from the floor. Classes are Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
