The following information is intended to provide core facility and administrative staff members with a framework for the administrative and financial operations of a core facility. When managed in a consistent manner, core facilities are able to maintain high levels of service, accessibility, stability, cost-effectiveness, quality control and compliance with federal regulations.  Each year, service center core facility managers are responsible for submitting a rate schedule, budget and written plan for resolving a surplus/deficit through the Divisional Business Office to the Office of Cost Analysis.
