Our screening services provide a convenient and efficient annual mammogram for women over 40, as recommended by the American College of Radiology.
For our diagnostic services, we offer state-of-the art breast imaging technology combined with expert interpretation to provide the best possible patient care.
Our division offers a breast imaging fellowship each year for a radiologist to further develop his or her expertise. We also provide breast imaging training for our radiology residents. We have a variety of clinical settings, including high-volume outpatient centers, complex breast imaging cases at an academic medical center, and interventional procedures.
Our breast imaging researchers evaluate new technologies to better diagnose and treat breast tissue abnormalities. Some examples of our current research projects include evaluation of pre-operative localization techniques in the breast and axilla and evaluation of artificial intelligence applied to breast imaging triage, characterization and diagnosis.
