Dr. Yousem reviewing radiology images

Radiology is on the frontlines of the most exciting work taking place in medicine today. Using technology, our radiology experts are helping their colleagues across Johns Hopkins Medicine gain sharper perspectives in our joint pursuit of accurately diagnosing medical conditions and developing new therapies to treat medical conditions.

The radiologist is responsible for interpreting the results of exams, doing certain procedures, such as interventional radiology procedures or treatment procedures. Radiologists also consult with other doctors in other specialties as needed to provide the highest level of excellent patient care.
