Meet Our Experts

We capitalize on the expertise and team approach that exists throughout Johns Hopkins. Our radiation oncologists work with the Hopkins multi-disciplinary oncology team of surgeons, medical oncologists, and sub-specialized radiologists and pathologists.

Our experienced, specialized staff, which includes clinicians (those who treat the patients) and researchers, work cooperatively to enhance the department’s ability to provide the most advanced treatment options that are specific to each patient’s disease.

It is not just about how cancers are treated but also about the team who is treating the disease. Every member of our radiation oncology staff contributes to patient care.

Radiation Oncologists

Radiation oncologists prescribe and develop treatment plans that are specific to each patient, oversee the precise delivery of the treatment, and are committed to clinical care and development of new patient clinical trials. View the full list.

Medical Physics Faculty

Medical physicists work with the doctor to develop treatment plans and work with dosimetrists to make sure the treatment is safe and tailored to the patients' needs. They also develop and monitor quality control plans for radiation equipment and procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
