Neuromuscular Disease

About our Practice

We provide care for individuals with pulmonary complications due to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), muscular dystrophy, and other causes of respiratory muscle impairment. Services include respiratory evaluations and consultations regarding ventilatory support. The ALS clinic is staffed by two full time board certified pulmonologists and two advanced practice nurses. The muscular dystrophy respiratory clinic is part of a multidisciplinary clinic staffed by a neurologist, cardiologist, genetic counselor, physical therapist, and occupational therapist.
