The Mental Illness and Substance Abuse (MISA) treatment team provides outpatient services for those who have a co-occurring mental illness and a current or recent substance abuse problem. The mental illnesses occurring most commonly among patients in the program are Bipolar Disorder, Major Depression, and Schizophrenia.  To participate, patients must make a commitment to stopping the use of alcohol and other drugs.  Individual therapy, group therapy, medication management and urine testing are a core part of the treatment structure.

Clinic Staff

MISA is staffed by an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, licensed social work/mental health therapists, and a case manager.

We accept Medical Assistance, Medicare, as well as some private insurance. Insurance coverage will be verified prior to your first appointment.
