Dr. Sandy Fang specializes in surgery for colon and rectal cancer, as well as benign colorectal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, rectal prolapse, anal fistulas and fecal incontinence. She performs high-resolution anoscopy and minimally invasive procedures to treat colorectal cancer, diverticulitis and inflammatory bowel disease.

She is board certified in general surgery, as well as colon and rectal surgery. more

Selected Publications

Dr. Fangs research interests include high-resolution anoscopy and anal dysplasia/cancer, inflammatory bowel disease and outcomes in rectal prolapse surgery. Among her recent studies, published in Diseases of the Colon and Rectum, is an NSQIP analysis of the comparative safety of abdominal versus perineal repair of rectal prolapse in high risk patients.
