Dr. Vivek A. Patil is a colorectal surgeon affiliated with Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital, where he serves as chairman of colorectal surgery, as well as Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Patil is board-certified in general surgery, as well as colon and rectal surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He practices out of Colorectal Surgery of Maryland and Washington, D.C., located in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Patil has an expertise minimally-invasive surgery, including laparoscopy and robotic surgery, to treat benign and malignant conditions of the colon and rectum. He has special interests in anorectal conditions, inflammatory bowel disease and pelvic floor disorders.
