Background
Dr. Karen Lindeman is an associate professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include anesthesiology. Dr. Lindeman is a member of the obstetric anesthesia division in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Lindeman received her undergraduate degree in economics and natural science from the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Health System School of Medicine. She completed her residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Lindeman joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 1989.
Prior to completing her medical degree, Dr. Lindeman was an economist for the Energy Information Administration at the U.S. Department of Energy.
Dr. Lindeman served as the associate editor of Anesthesiology from 1994 to 2000.
