Traffic Near Johns Hopkins Bayview

Attention Johns Hopkins Bayview patients, staff and visitors: As a result of a fire across the street from the Johns Hopkins Bayview Campus in Southeast Baltimore, the facilities department has shut down the ventilation system at that location to prevent smoke from entering the handling system.


Additionally, Eastern Avenue is closed at Bayview Blvd., and Bayview Blvd is closed southbound at Mason Lord Drive. Please use Lombard Street to enter and exit the campus. If you are on campus, please remain indoors.

Background

Mahsa Salehi, O.D., F.A.A.O, is an assistant professor of ophthalmology at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. She provides comprehensive services specializing in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, conditions and post-operative surgical care in areas such as: macular degeneration, retinal detachments and tears, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts; as well as, eye examinations and contact lens fittings.

She  earned  her  Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College  of Optometry at Salus University, completed  her residency  in ocular disease at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia and received  medical  retina fellowship training with Dr. Peter L. Gehlbach, a highly regarded Vitreo-Retinal Specialist at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. Dr. Salehi is a member of the Wilmer Ocular Surface Disease and Dry Eye Team and a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
