Background

Dr. Pirooz Mofrad is a Heart Rhythm Specialist who completed his Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training at Stanford University Hospitals.  Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed his internship at Georgetown University Hospital. His academic interests and field of expertise includes complex catheter ablations of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia.   He also performs implantations of permanent pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillator therapy for heart failure patients.  He is actively involved in research trials in his field.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
