Dr. Vicente Garcia Tomas is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine.
Dr. Garcia Tomas serves as the Director of the Acute Pain Service at Bayview Medical Center, as well as Coordinator for the Division of Regional Anesthesiology. He has experience as director of the Anatomy Course for Regional Anesthesia and the director of the Ultrasound Regional Anesthesia Workshop for the Johns Hopkins’ Department of Anesthesiology.
He earned his M.D. from University of Valencia Medical School. He completed his residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and Fellowship in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Garcia Tomas is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia.
