Dr. Chen specializes in general and transplant hepatology, taking care of patients across a broad range of liver conditions. He is board-certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology.

Dr. Chen's research applies epidemiologic and health economic techniques to address high impact topics in clinical hepatology. In particular, he focuses on alcohol-associated liver disease, alcohol use disorder, and organ transplantation. Dr. Chen has presented his work in many medical journals and digestive/liver disease scientific conferences. more
