Background
Deborah Bervinchak, M.A., is an educator of the deaf and hard of hearing, assistant to the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and coordinator of Outreach Services.
Ms. Bervinchak is a member of the cochlear implant team providing pre-implant assessment of auditory skill development for pediatric candidates, pediatric and adult auditory (re)habilitation and outreach services. She is also part of ongoing research regarding early developing skills related to reading in children who have received a cochlear implant prior to 24 months of age. She earned her M.A. degree from Pacific University.
