Background
Dr. Rosenblum is originally from Mexico City. He received his medical degree from the Anahuac University where he graduated at the top of his class. He then competed for and was awarded a urology residency position at the prestigious National Institute of Medical Sciences in Mexico. He subsequently accepted a fellowship position in urologic oncology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, where he was involved in multiple research projects relating to urologic cancers–in particular, prostate cancer treatments and prostate cancer chemoprevention.
Upon completing his fellowship, Dr. Rosenblum emigrated to the United States and became board eligible by completing his second urology residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Rosenblum has been in private practice since 2005. He also volunteers as a consultant for the Montgomery County Cancer Crusade. He has a diverse urologic practice with particular interests in minimally invasive surgery for urologic cancers. Dr. Rosenblum has published multiple journal articles and meeting abstracts, and he has been an invited lecturer both here and abroad. He has received multiple awards and distinctions along the course of his career. Dr. Rosenblum is a member of the American Urological Associationand a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Rosenblum enjoys spending time with his wife, two small daughters, and his dog, Lucas.
