Ruben Troncoso is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. 

Dr. Troncoso completed medical school and residency at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During his residency, Dr. Troncoso was a recipient of the Housestaff Teaching Award.  

In his faculty role, Dr. Troncoso has been the recipient of the Johns Hopkins Hospital Outstanding Attending of the Year Award, the Teacher of the Year Award, and the Best Faculty Role Model Award. 

He currently serves as the Assistant Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Lifeline Critical Care Transport Program, is an active member of the Division of Special Operations, and is completing his Fellowship in Emergency Medical Services.
