Background
Rachel Cane, M.D., is an instructor of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She specializes in pediatric hospital medicine, with research interests in trauma informed care, simulation and the construction of medical knowledge. She works on general pediatrics floor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg Children’s Center and in the pediatric combined ED and inpatient unit at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
Dr. Cane earned an undergraduate degree in archaeological studies at Yale University and a PhD in anthropology at the University of California-Berkeley. She earned her medical degree and completed a pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago.
